We hired the room upstairs. We were welcomed and even had a member of the bar staff coming around taking our orders. This made the night go like clockwork and we had a great time. Having worked across the road for many years, to come back after all this time and find that the pub was as welcoming as ever was lovely. The serving staff member who took car of us upstairs was just brilliant too. Lovely chap.

PERFECT! The staff are so friendly and went above and beyond for us. We had a graduation party here and they made sure noone's glass was ever empty, the food was amazing, I can't praise them enough. They worked very well with us to make sure everything was as we wanted. Thank you so much for having us! we would definitely have another event here in the future.

An oasis of calm (and beer) away from the crowds Nice hot day with the South Bank really busy.. Yet 2 minutes away a calm pub. Nice decor, decent beer and good pub food... Definitely worth making the detour for..

What a great evening we had sitting on one of the high tables. Excellent food: Cauliflower cheese and Cumberland sausage, both exceptional! Good value bottle of Merlot added to the evening. Staff were there for us.

Food here is fine, nothing special. The decor reminds me of a chain pub in Surrey. Quite expensive for what it is, perhaps because if the location.
