The Lighthouse in the center of my favorite scottish city Glasgow. Remarkable place in the very center of the city. Fortunately they have managed to keep some of the brilliant masterpieces of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the great architect of Glasgow. One of few places where we can see his works, as his Museum was burnt out.

I spent almost 1 hour there with other friends. It presents a great deal of the Scottish arts, however I don't really like the organisation there. It should be reorganized. The open view from the top of the stair way is great for spotting attractions in Glasgow

Free entrance. It features many galleries (though not all of them will be in use at all times) and a Café. The shop has some cool products. The building has a lift and going to the top will allow for view of the lighthouse and a nice view of the city. Hours are a bit restrictive (10.30 am - 5 pm).

Nice exhibition on Mackintosh, library of building materials and other temporary exhibitions. The viewpoint is especially good although a long way up the spiral staircase. The view of Glasgow is a great reward!

Went to a fantastic event at the lighthouse today, with Dr David R Hamilton. Just an amazing experience. The little book of kindness is his latest book.
