We loved our stay there. Location is good, breakfast was satisfactory as well. Is recommend it to people who are interested in shopping as Oxford Street is very close.

Very good central location. Helpful and vriendly staff. Breakfast was lovely. My only complaint is that the hotel basically sits above one of the tube lines and if you are on the ground floor, you will notice that. It wasn't a big deal for me as i was so jet lagged. It's a nice hotel over all.

The good: Location, staff and cleanliness. The rooms get cleaned/freshened up every day. All room-items are restocked, new bedsheets, towels etc. The location is absolutely amazing with easy waking access to Oxford, Soho, Regents Park,, Hyde etc and Oxford Circus tube stop not far. The size of the room is pretty good and the tall ceiling makes it seem airy. The bad: The rooms are severely outdated. The air is stuffy, no AC, the beds are horrible. We had a double bed but in reality it was just 2 singles pushed together. My side of the bed didn't have a nightstand .. Because there wasn't room for it. We could feel every spring in the mattress. It's grossly overpriced. I live in a non-English capitol considered more expensive than London and we can get a much better hotel way cheaper than the 180 pounds per night we paid. Absolute ripoff. The bathroom is old consisting of a bathtub with shower and a sink with separate outlets for warm and cold. Toilet was in its own room. There's no visible ventilation in neither the main room (including the bed), the bathroom or the toilet. Also, did I mention how the sound travels? We could literally hear what our neighbour's where talking about and everything going on. There is no minibar, 2 simple kitchen glasses and 2 coffee cups.and a water heater but the water heater has to be connected to an outlet at the floor. It just feels so dated. You pay for location, nothing else. We will not revisit. This is a poor "3-star" hotel even on the London-scale and it's solely due to the hotel itself being run down and in dire need or some major upgrades.

Our family stayed here for 4 days in March. Excellent value for the money to be located so central to everything in a (generally) fairly expensive area. The Ritz or Savoy it is not, as the rooms are a dated and worn somewhat. However, again, very inexpensive for area, large rooms and all spotlessly clean. Fantastic shower, kitchenette, etc. Breakfast was great, and all the staff were quite helpful. You simply cannot beat the location. Oxford station just down the block. Buy yourself an Oyster card first day, then tube anywhere in the city! Yes, you can hear the train rumble underneath every 20 minutes. Big deal, it's a hyper active city, and if that bothers you, it just means you've traveled far to waste too much time hanging out in a hotel. Instead of out roaming this fantastic city 'till all hours, sampling all the great pubs, sights, etc. Crashing late/get up early do it again. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, and recommend to all our friends. (non-prissy ones anyway...)

Really like this hotel better then rest of others in London. Plus for a good price
