Lots of stuff there could easily spend a few days to go through it all, very well presented. Cafe is quality but very expensive (£4.20 for a slice of cake!). Facilities are of a high standard and park outside is nice. The galleries are very detailed and have some great artifacts. The gift shops have some great things but again at a high price . A good day out.

Absolutely amazing museum and the highlight of my own trip to London. Whether you like learning about history or not it is an amazing place. The collection is fantastic and everything is clearly labeled and explained. They manage to keep it very interesting and powerful. Would recommend going through all the exhibits but the world war 1 and holocaust exhibits are incredible, truly well put together. I spent around 5 hours here but I would say the average time would be around 3 hours. There are also some vendors in the area to grab a bite to eat before or after your visit! Amazing museum and will for sure be coming back.

One of my favourite places in London! Huge benefit of not being anyway near as crowded as the British Museum and NHM. Fascinating exhibits and you leave with the knowledge of so many stories of individuals in wartime. I'm sure to many the Holocaust exhibit is both harrowing and insightful and a must see if you're in the area. Obviously not recommended for young ones, although the rest of the museum is fine for all ages! Especially the WW1 section on the ground floor- fun, informative and interactive. Great way to spend a day.

First time visiting this museum. I'm not too big into history, but the multimedia exhibits and eye-catching displays kept my attention for the couple hours spent here. Very well done. It's also free (donation recommended) which is nice as well. Worth a stop for anyone, and for those truly interested in WW1, WW2, or other aspects of British history, you will love it!

As a museum professional myself, I was very impressed. We need to come back to London and when we do, this will be our first stop. Interesting materials for all ages and political affiliations. The exhibitions are beautifully crafted and the museum's approach to accessibility has me brainstorming some ideas for my own. Well done! It also doesn't hurt that this is one of the few museums in London that seems to have temperature control.
