Ruby blue is one of the best places in central London that I’ve been to! (And I’ve been to a few haha) The only issue I have is the music. If the music that plays upstairs plaid downstairs there will be a lot more people. It gets very hectic and crowded upstairs because everyone likes this music and it’s very hard to actually move! And also it should close a bit later. If they change that then it will be the best place to go on a night out!

Ruby Blue is located in the heart of Leicester Square has been around for years. It's one of those venues that provides run of the mill cocktails that take no effort to throw together with your standard bar spirits and averagely priced drinks (or very reasonable for central London prices). It's a large cavernous venue that provides loud music some nights. It is made out to be of a higher class but if you look closely it is made of cheap MDF and vinyl so the huge wear and tear this venue gets can be easily patched for the next days onslaught of attendees. Ruby Blues serves it purpose. It caters for the large 18-30 crowd who want to go to central London, listen to music and get wasted. It meets this need perfectly which explains its staying power. My last visit was midweek and wasn't my choice of venue. I found the bar staff to be great and friendly as well as the door staff. I was there earlier and found it uncrowded and comfortable enough to catch up with friends. There is an outdoor balcony smoking area that overlooks the square.

The food was absolutely amazing!! I had a riot of flavour in my mouth and didn’t want the meal to end! The staff were really professional and friendly, nothing was too much for them and they really made our night feel special. Would definitely recommend.

The place was filthy (at 10pm) and the music was too mellow. The first floor is closed for comedy. The doorman try to charge us £10 per person before 10pm (It should be free in London). Go somewhere else if you can. It was much better 2 years ago...

Just went in for a few drinks but really enjoyed it here. So much space in the heart of London! The staff were lovely and the cocktails were well prepared. Happy hour is GREAT! Half price cocktails ! The only small complaint is that the toilet cubicles are really tiny. Thanks for a great evening !!
