With 200 free car parking spaces, almost unheard of for a London venue, and very competitively priced meetings and events rates, The Valley offers a great value for money venue.

From intimate meetings or family gatherings to large conferences and awards dinners, our experienced team will ensure that whatever the size of your event, it is a success. Most rooms have pitch views with floor to ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the stadium, making any event unique.

From Boxes for 10 delegates to the North Stand with it's own separate entrance that can accommodate up to 700 theatre style or 450 for dinner, or in between for 50 - 1000 guests for a meeting or party, The Valley has it covered.

We visited for a function and I must say I was impressed. Good quality food served well. Bar prices was also good and service was fine. The event we went for was the Only Fools and Horses event hence the pictures. But impressed

I watched Charlton Athletic play Gillingham from the West Stand where I sat close to the dug out. There were so many empty seats you could sit almost wearever you wanted. On the day Charlton won 3-0. The stadium however seems to be very metallic, almost like Maccano. It's a very square stadium and feels a bit tired. The Away End didn't look too welcoming and I almost felt it was like the cattle market I went to as a child. Having said that, it is far better than the stadium that is home to Northampton Town Football Club. The Charlton Athletic stadium could do with some investment.

I really liked Charlton Athletic Football Club, although I went there for an event that was taking place in the suites. It was a local church event called the praise party, but I got there quite early so they asked me to come back in one hour and a half and go to Costa. When I looked for Costa it took me about 30 to 40 minutes to get there so I decided not to go back to the church event. The grounds of Charlton Athletic Football Club is very vast and spacious, I believe that the football games that take place are very entertaining to watch. It is easily accessible by car train or bus.
